On Friday we joined Room 3 to walk up the School Road bush track to look at the stream. We looked carefully to see what creatures were living in the stream. We measured the temperature of the water and it was 16 degrees. We didn't see any rubbish in the stream which was good because when we looked at the stream by school there was a lot of rubbish in it.
After we had looked at the stream Gareth showed us rat, possum and stoat traps.
We had a great time investigating our local stream Room 2. We will let you know what our next step will be. Mrs Cameron
